Everstone Finance Named Valued Sponsor of the Australian Police Football Association
Everstone Finance has been officially recognised as a Valued Sponsor of the Australian Police Football Association (APFA) — the national body that brings together serving and former police officers from every state and every department across the country through Australian Rules Football.
Supporting those who serve
The APFA exists to support the mental, physical and social wellbeing of police members through one of the most demanding professions in the country. The competition brings together officers from every state and every department — from frontline patrol and highway divisions to specialist units, forensic teams and federal agencies.
For us, the decision to sponsor was straightforward. Behind every uniform is a person. Behind that person is a family, a home, and a life built outside the job. Supporting the people who protect those things — and ours — isn't something we take lightly.
Why this matters to us: Many of our clients are first responders, defence personnel, and frontline workers. Their work doesn't run on a 9-to-5, and neither does ours. The financial side of life — buying a home, refinancing, planning an investment property — should never be the thing that adds more stress to people who already carry enough of it for the rest of us.
About the Australian Police Football Association
The Australian Police Football Association is a national not-for-profit body that organises Australian Rules Football competitions for police officers across the country. Its members are drawn from state police forces, the Australian Federal Police, and a range of specialist agencies.
Beyond the football itself, APFA fosters camaraderie, mental health awareness, and peer support across the policing community — connections that often outlast careers. It's an organisation that genuinely improves the wellbeing of its members, and we're proud to play a small part in that.
What this means in practice
Our sponsorship contributes directly to the running of APFA competitions, including travel, equipment, and member welfare initiatives. We don't approach community sponsorship as marketing. The benefit, if any, is being able to say honestly that we support people who do work that matters.
If you're a serving or former police officer — or a family member of one — and you'd like to chat about your home loan, refinancing options, or property goals, we'd genuinely welcome the conversation. As we do with every client, lenders pay our fees. You don't.
